It is my great pleasure to welcome our newest employee: Gord Tanner.
Gord brings over 6 years of experience in software development to tinyHippos, but his love affair with computers and technology goes back way longer then that. He put up his fist BBS back in 1994 and has been addicted to making computers do awesome things ever since. Gord’s passion, energy, and pragmatism will surely helps do great things here at tinyHippos Inc.

Gord was the first person to greet me when I had my interview at the company where we would both eventually work. I asked him where I could put my coat. He stared blankly at me, then kind of motioned forlornly at the closet.
“You can try,” he said, and walked away.
And that’s when I discovered that Gord only works at places where the closets are actually for beer storage only.
We’re not big enough to have a beer closet, but we do keep an ample supply in the fridge :-) Secretly, I think Gord is looking forward to the Espresso maker more :-)
