Announcing The Ripple Emulator beta launch – 20 days to go

Wondering what the tinyHippos have been up to for the past few months??  Well – if you haven’t had the pleasure of attending a local event in the Kitchener/Waterloo region where you would have been captivated by our demo…  then you are in for a treat!  The boys are finally ready to come out of stealth mode and show the world!

When are we launching?

On April 27th, 2010 tinyHippos will be releasing the Beta version of our “Ripple Emulator”.

Please join us for our launch party at The Barley Works in Waterloo, ON. Please get a ticket here as space is limited.

What is Ripple?

Ripple is a multi-platform mobile device emulator that runs solely in a browser and is custom-tailored to mobile widget testing.

What will Ripple do for you?

Ripple offers you the ability to use existing tools to perform JavaScript debugging, HTML DOM inspection, automated testing, as well as multiple device and screen resolution emulation in real-time without having to redeploy the mobile widget or restart the emulator. Ripple allows you to look “under the hood” of your mobile widget.

What platforms does The Ripple Emulator support?

Ripple is built to support a multitude of mobile widget platforms. For our beta launch, Ripple will have support for the Opera mobile widget as well as the JIL mobile widget platforms, with support for the Nokia WRT platform following shortly. Below is a screen shot of The Ripple Emulator in action.

Why use Ripple?

Ripple has saved us days of testing and debugging mobile widgets that we have developed for our clients and can do the same for you. Stay tuned to our blog over the next 20 days until launch to read more about mobile widgets and view demos of various features within The Ripple Emulator.
